Measured in retainers.

Every figure on this page is a signed-case or cost-per-case number, not a traffic number. Most clients ask to stay anonymous, so results are published by practice area and market. Full breakdowns are shared on request under NDA.

told honestly.

Including what didn't work. Every one of these had a quarter where something we tried lost money — that's in the full write-ups too.

Personal Injury · Southeast US

312%

Increase in signed MVA cases over eleven months on a flat media budget. Driven by rebuilding practice-area architecture, killing three underperforming campaigns and moving the firm onto offline conversion imports.

Criminal Defense · Texas

−61%

Reduction in cost per signed case in two quarters. Most of the gain came from intake instrumentation, not the ad account — the firm was losing over half its qualified calls after hours.

What these numbers mean — and what they don't.

A signed case means an executed retainer recorded in the client's case management system, matched back to a marketing source. Not a form fill, not a phone call, not a "qualified lead" as scored by us.

Cost per signed case is total media spend plus our fee, divided by signed cases in the same period. Including our fee is unusual and it makes our numbers look worse than the industry convention. We think excluding it is dishonest.

None of this predicts your result. Market, budget, case mix, intake quality and the firm's own reputation move these figures more than anything an agency does. Any agency showing you a number and implying you'll get it is selling something.
